How to cancel Plex Pass: Log in to plex.tv → click your username → Account → Plex Pass → Cancel Subscription. If you have the annual plan, your access continues until the billing period ends. Lifetime subscribers can't cancel but can simply stop using Plex.
Before cancelling, audit which Plex Pass features you actually use. For most people it's remote access and watch resume — both of which LUMEN OD provides for free. If you use DVR heavily, that requires a migration plan, as LUMEN OD's live channels don't currently record (DVR is on the roadmap).
The migration is non-destructive. Your media files don't move. LUMEN OD scans the same directories and rebuilds the metadata database using TMDB directly. Run LUMEN OD in parallel for a week before cancelling Plex Pass — if it covers your use case, cancel and save $60/year.
